Street Wise Arts is excited to announce the fourth year of the Street Wise Boulder Mural Festival taking place September 29 through October 2, 2022. The 2022 festival will integrate augmented reality (AR) through digital collaborations. Our goal is to enhance artist and audience experiences by deepening visual storytelling and expanding engagement through the digital realm. All murals will be activated through augmented reality apps, adding 3D art, animations, video or other digital elements through a personal device. The festival will also include projection mapping over murals and video projections. For muralists who cannot create their own digital or AR activation, the festival will provide paid support for collaborations with other artists.
