Chant Cooperative presents "I Was Dreaming," opening reception on Saturday, October 30, 2021 from 7-10pm. There will be live music. Entry is donation based. Popularized by figures such as Sigmund Freud and Carl Jung, dream interpretation is both personal and common. Sharing dream experiences can foster community and reflect the collective unconscious in today’s time of disconnect from each other and ourselves. In this exhibition, Chant Cooperative members focus on these notions, exploring dreams’ potentiality as prophecy, a release from trauma and stress, psychoanalysis, and ancestral memory.

Chant Cooperative is a group of artists seeking to replace artworld gatekeeping with accessibility, inclusivity, and mutual development. We believe in collaboration over competition and offer services to members including participation in community events and exhibitions focused on critical, global topics, marketing/PR, and connections to buyers.
