The inaugural Art RiNo festival is a celebration of art in all its forms with murals, music, installations, arts workshops and special events. Taking place Sept. 5-11 and presented in partnership with RiNo Art District and the Westword Music Showcase, Art RiNo brings together a diverse collection of local, national and international artists for a week of art, music, events, workshops and more, with programming for all ages.
Here’s a look at what’s on tap for the week:
- MURALS: Six murals will be painted live by local, national and international artists on six different walls. See the event map for specific locations. See Artist Lineup
- MUSIC: RiNo is partnering with Westword to present the 2022 Westword Music Showcase, which will take place Sept. 9-10 with live music from a variety of local artists at Larimer Lounge, Bierstadt Lagerhaus, Reelworks, Tracks, Ironton Distillery, Number Thirty Eight and more venues across the Art District, with national acts at the Mission Ballroom Outdoors.
- LUMINADE: A partnership with IRL Arts will feature an in-person celebration of new light installations at the ArtPark (1900 35th St.) on Sept. 9, 10 and 11.
- WORKSHOPS: Family-focused workshops and events hosted throughout the Art District from Wednesday, Sept. 7- Sunday, Sept. 11.
- POP-UP EVENTS: The week will feature artist talks, a pop-up party with the Colorado Rapids, a picnic with Art vendors at RiNo ArtPark and the Drink RiNo Bar Crawl.
