Tuesday nights in June and August we'll be making a host of unconventional and totally cool interactive objects together, from sewing Frankenzombie stuffed animals to drawing the world's largest comic book- we'll be working in all types of mediums with art making for every age. Workshops are free with all supplies included, but you will need to pre-register. We will be practicing social distance protocols with lots of hand washing. Kids, teens and their adult friends are all encouraged to participate with individual and group projects. Pets welcome, and snacks and drinks will be available if you don't want to bring your own!

ArtPark Al Fresco is a partnership of the RiNo Art District, Denver Public Library, and Two Bee Industries.

August 3rd: 8 Bit and Minecraft Perler Beads
Jeepers creepers and SUS! Tonight we’re playing with fuse beads and looking at ways to make retro arcade and game inspired designs. We’ve got great tips for giving your projects 3D effects and even unconventional patterns for our grownup friends.

August 10th: World's Longest Comic
Choose your side, hero or villain, grab a pencil or marker and jump into our story. We’ll be composing an adventure together from the opening action scene to triumphant redemption panel in this writing and drawing activity. We’ll have giant group comic and individual blank books for you to work in and professional comic creators as guest hosts, talking about their craft.

August 17th: Stinky Sock Buddies
Let’s make something out of nothing! We’ll be planting grass seed and catnip in old socks embroidering on salvaged buttons and funny faces in a super functional and living upcycled project making friendly and useful friends for our window sills.

August 24th: Linoleum Cut Paper Arcade Games
Welcome crewmates! We’re putting an analog twist onto our digital favorites carving Pac-Man, Tetris and Among Us designs in linoleum stamps and creating paper stamps that we can play together or use to embellish other stationary, sticker or fabric projects.
