Kate Casanova is an interdisciplinary artist who explores the posthuman through sculpture and video. Casanova has exhibited nationally and internationally at venues such as the Barbican Centre (London), Le Poisson Rouge (New York), and the Weisman Art Museum (Minneapolis). She was a featured artist in Doug Aitken's exhibition, "Station to Station," which toured the nation by train in 2013. She is represented by the Kolman & Pryor Gallery (Minneapolis). She received an MFA from the University of Minnesota in 2013 and a BFA from the Minneapolis College of Art & Design in 2008. She is an Assistant Professor of Sculpture at the University of Denver.

Kate has decided to donate 25% of sales to Minneapolis College of Art & Design MFA 2020 Fund (a scholarship that will support BIPOC MFA students) and 25% of sales to Conservation Colorado (which works throughout the state to protect air, land, water, and people).

LMP PDA showcases artworks in our public-facing window vitrine every 2 weeks, until we open at full capacity. 100% of the sales will go directly to the artists, who have agreed to donate a portion to a social, political or otherwise engaged organization of their choice.

LMP PDA is viewable 24/7 and we invite you to stop by anytime while wearing a mask and practicing appropriate social distancing - it’s our way to propose a new way of thinking and looking together, while we’re staying apart.
