Rachel Denny's fiber sculptures are showing concurrently with Works on Paper, a solo exhibition of Adonna Khare's meticulous carbon-pencil drawings.

Rachel Denny is a multimedia artists and sculptor heavily inspired by the natural world around us. Denny resides outside of Portland, Oregon and best know for her fiber sculptures such as the Domestic Trophies - deer mounts covered in cozy cashmere cable knit woolens. Denny's work touches on the concepts of human intervention in nature, domesticity, femininity, and the increasingly environmental issues present in our society. Her work allows the viewer to question their place in nature and what the relationship between humans and the natural world entails.

"My sculptures weave the everyday objects with animal form to create new layers of information. I use tactile materials to create beautiful yet absurd creatures that are half wild yet domesticated by human intervention." —Rachel Denny
