Please note changes and cancellation of the opening reception for the event. At this time of uncertainty and social distancing we prefer to only have visitors by appointment. Thank you for your understanding!

Processus is delighted to present Scratched and Corroded, a group show of prints made on an etching press using intaglio processes including etching, drypoint and natural corrosion. Artists include Grant R. Williams, Tonia Bonnell, Gail Boyd, Zachary Carlisle Davidson, Christopher R. Perez and Viviane Le Courtois.

Due to COVID 19, we have cancelled the Opening Reception which was scheduled March 20th, in conjunction with Mo'Print: Month of Printmaking. Please save the date for for the Closing Reception on Saturday May 16th from 6 to 10 pm instead. The exhibition will be open by appointment from March 21st until May 16th, 2020 at Processus, located at 955 24th St., Denver CO 80205.

The exhibition focuses on the actions of scratching surfaces to leave marks, creating art around previously made scratches or corroding zinc and copper plates with acid or with natural ingredients to create chance patterns and textures. Some of the works are made by chance and process, while others contain poetic, environmental or political content.

In addition to the exhibition, Processus will be open March 28th and 29th from 10 am to 4 pm for the Mo’ Print Open Studio Tours. Please call first in case this gets cancelled. For an appointment to see the show call 303 653 4091 or 303 526 8064 or email processusartlife@gmail.com for more info.
