DATELINE will host “I had a dream that you were a fountain”, an exhibition of sculpture by Sophie Lynn Morris, from November 9th to December 1st, 2019. The works personify everyday materials to explore the meaning of water as a personal and universal symbol for nourishment, interpersonal relationships, consciousness and spirituality.

Sophie Lynn Morris (b. 1992) is an artist living and working in Denver, Colorado. She received her BFA in Sculpture from Pratt Institute in 2015. Recent exhibitions include ​Drive In: House of Cars curated by Cortney Lane Stell for Black Cube Nomadic Museum (Denver, CO), ​Made in Colorado curated by Olga Viso and Cameron Gainer at Emmanuel Gallery (Denver, CO), ​Rethinking Urbanism curated by Louise Martorano at​ ​RedLine Contemporary Art Center (Denver, CO)​, Sommer’s Daughter a​ t Georgia Art Space curated by George P. Perez (Denver, CO), and ​Pink Progression​ at the Denver Public Library and the Center for Visual Art (Denver, CO). Recent curatorial projects have been exhibited at Gildar Gallery, 808 Projects, and Untitled Fair 2017 (Miami).
