The Crash @ Kephart, 2557 Walnut Street

Feral Factory’s four-month series on urbanism continues with an exhibition celebrating the enduring spirit of cities and their citizens amidst social, political, economic, and environmental trials. This one-month exhibition includes exceptional and thought-provoking paintings, photography, and multimedia work from local and international artists.

Our featured local artist, Nicholas Emery, works in the Globeville district of North Denver. His art beautifully expresses the boundaries and resistances endemic to the urban landscape, and it hints at the resilience of the people who call the city home.

This competitive show was juried by Louise Martarano of RedLine Contemporary Art Center, Tracy Weil of RiNo Art District, Martha Weidmann of NINE dot ARTS, and Feral Factory Co-Founders Shana Cordon and John Barbour.

Opening Saturday, April 29 at 7pm. This month, Quake Theater will perform a piece from "Joan of Sn'arc," which King River Life Magazine calls "political satire at its best”.
