Visions West Contemporary is pleased to announce a group exhibition, Counter Cowboy. This unique perspective of the "Wild West" features the work of Tracy Stuckey, Patty Carroll, June Glasson, Clayton Porter, David Rathman, and introducing Shae Bishop, and Grace Kennison. The exhibition will open to the public on January 21, 2022 and continue through February 26, 2022.
Counter Cowboy aims to explore the often untold and forgotten history of the American West. Debunking the longstanding story of the west, the show tells of the many different experiences hidden below the stereotypes we are most familiar with. The American West is wonderfully diverse and Counter Cowboy aims to explore the many perspectives that are alive in the West.
