Denver Arts Week + First Friday in RiNo

November #FirstFriday and Denver Arts Week intersect this Friday, Nov. 4! Kick off the weekend by exploring the District’s galleries, shops, restaurants and bars! Visit our website for the full schedule of events, including the following pro tips:

  • Start out your night with some drinks at 10 Barrel Brewing (2620 Walnut St) and mention RiNo First Friday to get BOGO pints of beer!
  • Stop by DUER (2621 Larimer St) for a curated gallery show by Drew Button with various artists. Refreshments will be provided.
  • Fuel up at Redeemer Pizza (2705 Larimer St) and enjoy a slice of pizza and a beer (or a glass of house wine) for only $6 from 6-9pm!
  • Pop by Dateline (3004 Larimer St) for the grand opening of a new solo show (above image credit) from artist George Bangs from 5-11 pm. Note: A new mural from Bangs will also be on display as part of the RiNo Art District Mural Program!
  • Head over to RiNo Studios on Blake (3040 Blake St) to see open studios from artists Eric Ronshaugen, Roseann Niemeyer, Starr Tucker-Ortega, and more.
  • Walk over to view all 37 feet of “The Art in the Everyday Community Quilt Project” at fooLPRoof contemporary art gallery (3240 Larimer St) from 6-9pm while enjoying some refreshments.
  • Visit open artist studios at Walnut Workshop (3525 Walnut St) to meet Jarvis Fosdick, Rich Wylie, Brian Bohnert, Delton Demarest & Dan Wardell, Jenna Cruff, Austin Doran and go circus style with LeahTard Wedgie!
  • View Ceremonies in the Air, featuring new and recent works by Denver-based artists JayCee Beyale and Karma Leigh and a special print collaboration with Anthony Garcia at Alto Gallery (1900 35th St, RiNo ArtPark) along with open artist studios at RedLine's ArtPark location.
  • Check out Plinth Gallery (3520 Brighton Blvd) to see Holly Walker's new ceramic show!
  • Don’t miss PlatteForum (3575 Ringsby Ct) where you can explore map-making through a social justice lens with Jennifer Maravillas-Bell from 6-8pm.
