Join us for the opening of "Community Forms," Matt Barton’s largest interactive installation to date and Black Cube’s first outdoor permanent artwork. Located at Denver's TAXI Campus, this sculptural intervention encourages freeform interaction, creative play, and exploration. In addition to its playful use, the abstract forms also serve as a novel solution for flood mitigation. Composed of concrete, formed earth, and recycled materials, this public artwork visually references skateparks and disciplines such as Land and Earth art. Matt Barton is a 2021 Black Cube Artist Fellow.
