Emily Dwan is a professional visual artist based in the heart of the RiNo art district in Denver, Colorado. Acrylic paints are used to craft her abstract landscapes that aim to capture the essence of a moment rather than focusing on realism. Bright colors are enhanced and brush strokes are broken to emit happiness and positivity and evoke emotion.
In addition to painting, Emily also creates unique mosaic sculptures, wall pieces and installations. Glistening stained glass, crystals and found objects are thoughtfully applied to wooden canvases, floors, instruments, skis, and other forms to bring an exciting new life to these once ordinary objects. Emily harnesses the power of color to elicit the viewer’s emotions with her vibrant compositions.
