Karmen is an assemblage artist, environmental historian, and Colorado native. These aspects combine as she creates entire worlds in terrariums and aquariums, living sculptures, and whimsical creations that recycle and reuse common objects. She teaches classes on terrarium construction, fairy gardening, airplant arrangement, local history, and more. Her murals may be seen along Colfax ave and other places around Denver.
