The Studio on Paradox Lane: Featuring The Fine Art and Other Creative Adventures of Erika LZ Delzell
Born in Isfahan, Iran, in the late 1970’s, Erika LZ Delzell has explored experience on the quest for a beauty to heal the world, and general Kung Fu mastery, seemingly ever since. A local contemporary artist, she, predominately uses oil paint on found objects to combine contemplative practice and social activism with and a deep-seated love of color and paint to create timeless visual explorations of moments as they were meant to be seen.
In addition to being widely traveled, Erika holds a BFA in painting, with minors in photography & ceramics from The School of the Art Institute of Chicago, and an MA in Transpersonal Counseling Psychology with a Concentration in Art Therapy from Naropa University in Boulder, CO. Her award winning work has been shown throughout Colorado and Chicago, and in private collections around the world. She currently lives and works in the Globeville neighborhood of Denver, CO.
